Past, Present, and Future

June 25th, 2008 by Alexandra received 7 Comments »

I went and got my palms read. And, apparently, this is what’s going to go down:

I’m outspoken and I share my feelings, good or bad. For the past three years, I’ve had a dark love energy. She asked if I had gotten out of a relationship recently; I said yes, back in October. She said that I’ve been unhappy or depressed since the breakup. She said that there’s been a female surrounding my ex; I clarified that he cheated on me with another girl and he’s still with her. She said that this relationship won’t last long between the two; he only wanted something fresh and new, but he will want to enter my life again after I’ve long moved on and getting involved with my career.

It’ll take three years for my dark love energy to go away, but I will meet my soulmate this year. He’ll be in his twenties, business-oriented, and the initials J and T are important. (Hey JEM TURNER!) Oh, and to stay away from any Ms. She asked if I was making a big move. I said yes, I was moving to San Francisco after college. She said that the move will be very good for me, that Memphis is bad for me. She asked if I was going into the medical field, because I am surrounded by it. I said no, maybe a long time ago, but my dad works at St. Jude, my best friend wants to be a nurse, and his sister is going to be a doctor. Weird.

So yeah, $30 well spent, maybe.

  1. Jem says:

Hey baby, are you my soulmate? ;D

  2. Brian says:

Haha. That’s kinda cool. I wonder if everything she said will really come true. Weird how things work, isn’t it?

  3. CCDiane says:

I thought palm reading exists only in Asia.
    $30 is pretty expensive :-(
I don’t want to believe in this thing, but there are many times that they are surprisingly accurate!

    And LOL @ JEM TURNER!!!

PS: Sorry I didn’t get back to you recently.
Since you changed the url, I’m quite confused lol. I’m a confused girl.

I’d love to get my palms read, but I doubt that there are reputable people in my area who do it, I’ll need to look into it. I’ve always been interested in such things but I dread hearing something that I won’t like – anything negative to do with my relationship really since I live in a dream world where we’ll be together forever.

  5. Taversia says:

    Wow, $30? :P

I dunno if I’d have paid that much for somewhat vague information. I’d have been more impressed if she didn’t have to ask anything. If she could just tell me what’s going on with me, simply by reading alone. x)

But who knows! Maybe she was right. :o

  6. Stephanie says:

I would love to get my palms read. With the type of love life I’ve led, the batty thing would have a field day ;)

No, but actually, I always think that sort of thing is pretty cool, especially when they’re spookily right.

  7. Alexandra says:

    @Jem: GOD I HOPE SO

@Brian: I should save this until I’m 70 and see if it all came true.

@Diane: You know, there are quite a few places here in Memphis to get your palms read. (p.s. IT’S OK I LOVE YOU)

@Melly: Yeah, I’d never heard of this woman, just passed by her establishment a few times. Take a chance, I say! DO ITTTTTT

@Tavvy: It is pretty vague, but it is odd nonetheless. :O

@Stephanie: Yeah, I was really surprised how she wasn’t just constantly trying to upsell me (although she was pushing the $80 to clear my ‘dark love energy’ blah blah). You should definitely try it.
