I’m not sure I get the “Richard Dix” thing – it seems redundant. Wouldn’t it make more sense if they said their name was “Load Swallower” or, say, “Interior Wally Stretcher” or something equally rude? Oh, those *aren’t* real names? I don’t know. I guess kids aren’t as clever as they used to be.

Veronica, I’d almost rather do tech support than the stuff my call center was answering for! You can’t really get mad at someone that’s walking you through fixing your computer/modem/whatever else.

I do tech support at a call center that supports over 40 isp’s. The ONLY time we are allowed to hang up on customers is if they continually curse us specifically. We can only hang up after we’ve told them we do not have to tolerate that.

I do love my job, and sometimes people get on my last nerve, but it could be worse lol Alot worse. I’ve been doing it 4years and can’t imagine doing anything else.

5 Reasons why I hung up on you
These are my reasons and my reasons alone and they are in no way at all the opinion of the writer of the blog. Although, I’m pretty sure Ale agrees with me on all of them

1) I hung up on you because I don’t feel like hearing you whine for 10 minutes, at 3 in the morning mind you, about how your husband/boyfriend left you for another woman. Maybe if you’d stay off the phone at 3am and stay in bed with him you’d be able to keep him around, hmm?

2) I hung up on you because you’re a dumbass. Why are you up between the hours of 1am and 5 am calling a free prayer line anyway?

3) I hung up on you because I got tired of hearing you scream and whine in my ear about how the people 4 halls down from you are blaring their music and you can hear it. First, if they’re 4 halls down from you and you can hear their music blaring, maybe it’s time to move to an apt with thicker walls eh?

4) I hung up on you because I don’t feel like hearing you complain that your a/c doesn’t work when it’s 60 degrees outside and it’s 70 degrees in your apt. I don’t care if you just came back from getting a facial and your makeup is going to run.

5) I hung up on you because you were calling for prayer asking God to bless you back the 1000 dollars that you just GAVE away so that you can get yourself out of credit card debt, so that you can pay your mortgage because your house is in foreclosure, so that you can pay your car note because tomorrow your car is going to get repossessed. Are you serious? I hung up on you because you’re not smart enough to pay your bills and you’re too busy trying to buy a miracle with money that you don’t have in the first place.
